Features Pyracantha Navaho The Pyracantha Navaho is an evergreen shrub of the Rosaceae family of chinese origin. It has numerous and dense thorny branches, covered by leaves narrow, lanceolate, dark green in color throughout the year. It blooms in June, with numerous white flowers, but it is with the next fruiting that the pyracantha navaho reaches its maximum splendor. It covers, in fact, many berries are round and slightly flattened at the ends, the color orange, which last until the following spring. Prefers fertile, well-drained soil, tolerates very well the prunings, it will be exposed to the direct light of the sun or partially shaded and is not difficult of cultivation. Its main use is to what plant the hedge, but also in pot for the compositions on the vases. The pyracantha navaho can also be used as plant ground cover in rock gardens.
